I have a lot of blogs I go through on the regular. I know that probably everyone reading this does (and hopefully Anna Down South is one!) but I think we can agree, that there are times when the blog posts just aren’t vibing with us. So, I present you with three posts that I’ve come across this week that I love.

Nole Garey and her team at Oh So Beautiful Paper have a lot of great things going on- including paper products which are by far my fave. I came across this Bourbon Pear Vanilla Bean cocktail on their site and thought that I’d have to give it a try (and I’m not a big drinker, so when I say that it sounds good). Here is the link!

Minimalism for us Non-Minimalists:

If you’re anything like me you love the idea of minimalism, but the practice… it’s a little too much! Or- uh- not enough. I’m the farthest thing form a hoarder, all the stuff I have I do use, but the thing is, I use a lot of things. You don’t see me moving into a tiny house anytime soon, or selling everything and moving down to a fifteen piece capsule wardrobe. It’s interesting, it’s cool, but I’m not committed. So what do I recommend for people like me?

The Simplest Planner Fix:

At the end of last year I found myself using to do lists more than my planner, which wasn’t effective, because my daily stuff got checked off but I had to keep moving my “side errands” from list to list. So this year I wanted to do something a little different with my planner. Above you can see that there isn’t anything fancy going on with that week… but the highlighters? They’re coded. Purple for social. Blue for work/babysitting. Yellow for appointments. And those “side errands” I was discussing? Post it notes, as seen below.
IMG_2492One last upgrade I’ve made? Other than some fun stickers, which I’m going to stock up on as soon as possible. Washi tape for days on end. Below I’ve marked off my far in the future fall break. There’s no mistaking it.
