For those of you who don’t know, my horse’s name is D’Artagnan (he’s the one with spots). He is named after a character in The Three Musketeers. Right now I’m rereading the book and I forgot it opens with someone making fun of D’Artagnan’s horse. Naturally, D’Artagnan’s only response is “so we’re going to fight? I’m going to kill you.”

D’Artagnan gets knocked out shortly after, but I find the scene relatable, and I think it’s a funny juxtaposition, so I thought I would share.
